![]() ![]() Just let it do its thing while you chill out. After the PS4 restarts, it begins the update. When that’s done, click the Update button to restart the system and install the update. Is it possible to update it without wiping the whole HDD. The PS4 will take a few seconds to copy the update file from the flash drive. ![]() I really dont want to factory reset it, because I have so many clips and other files that I want to keep. Says update complete and when it restarts it doesnt want to boot. Back at the beggining, checked the HDD and it just doesnt want to update. Tried with USB (FAT32, 4 GB storage abd everything named and downloaded corectly) the ps4 got it, downloaded the update, applied it and after restart - nothing. Plug the USB drive containing the file into the PS4 console. After that it restarted and checked my HDD again and I was at the beggining. Download the reinstallation file (button below) and save it in the 'UPDATE' folder. First it downloaded the update, then it started applying it. ,update file 7.51 available” I press it to update. I booted it in safe mode and tried internet (with lan cable). So the next day I go to turn it on and it says that I need to install the update file via usb, disc or internet. ![]() I didnt want to turn it on again because of the possibility that it could go out again. I had a power outage the other day my ps4 was on. ![]()
